Kombucha on tap!
I had dinner at Counter Culture the other night, and noticed they had started carrying kombucha! So I ordered one (ginger & lemon flavor) and they brought it to me in a glass, not a bottle. Not a bottle? But when I found the same company (Tha Best Kombucha II) at the Vero Beach Farmers Market the next day, I understood why. They had mini-kegs of kombucha at the tent, and you could buy it in a plastic cup, or you could buy a beautiful blue glass bottle full, and get majorly discounted refills! Love it! So a bought a blue bottle of the toasty oak flavor (delicious) and bought a refill before I even left the market.
This company is family owned & operated, and as you can see from the pic, super cute! Here’s some deets from them:
‘Hand crafted, oak aged kombucha brewed in Vero Beach Florida, using only certified organic fair trade ingredients. Our mission is to create a delicious bubbly probiotic tea for everyone of all ages to enjoy and reap the benefits of.’
Many local restaurants are carrying their kombucha, and I’m sure more will join. Vero has an athletic and health conscious community; apparently they are really embracing this (new to them) beverage!
